I am a woman who strives to be the best mom and wife I can be. This among many things is a goal in my life... My Jesus, my family, my church are some of the most important things in my life. Everything else falls under that. I love spending time with my son, he is amazing and the reason I started this blog. I want to remember him just the way he is. I sing all the time, and would one day enjoy making a record with my amazing talented brother... My hubby is an amazing man who is my strength when I am week, and he backs me in everything and anything I want to do! This life is a journey, a path and I am on it. It may be a roller coaster at times, but there is a God and people who help see me through it. My family (including close friends) are the ones who see me through! My momma is one amazing woman, and if I may say so she is my hero, the one I look up to. Where would I be without her? I am passionate about my family and the well being of my amazing God sent son.

Mosquito Bite

My son and hubby went out to a friends house last night while I was at work... They came to see me at work later and my baby boy comes in with 3 HUGE Mosquito bites... I felt so bad for him, he had one on his eye, one on his cheek, and one on his leg. This morning we woke up and the little bite on his cheek got bigger. Since we moved I don't have any rubbing alcohol to put on it...

What are your suggestions? How do you handle mosquito bites? They were not out long so I'm shocked he got so many!

  1. Unfortunately, little ones with fair skin seem to attract them more...not sure why...hmmmm...
There are so many things you can use to keep the mosquitoes away. Try the new Off Clip-On. At least it doesn't stink! Skin-So-Soft from Avon is also great for keeping mosquitoes away, and it smells wonderful!!

  3. Stopping over from Beth's blog! I am your newest follower. I no longer have little ones. My youngest is 7 and my oldest is 19, but maybe I could share some wisdom from time to time. Not much to offer regarding mosquito bites though. They tend to bite me more than my kids!

  4. Woo hoo. Lookie how lovely you have your blog lookin'! Hey Barbie above me is a Spirit-filled Sista.

My Princess (I don't use her real name on here - FYI) attracts mosquitoes like crazy! I haven't tried the new Off clip-on, but I need to see if it works. Unfortunately, I use the "Family" Off spray, but I hate putting stuff like that on her.

Blog is looking great and I see you're getting some friends. Yay!

    Love!

  6. Visiting from sister Beth's blog. That's awful. Those nasty bites! I try to get those repellent that don't have chemicals in them but has safer ingredient. You can try to make a paste from baking soda and apply it to your kid's bite. I hope that they will be gone in no time. God bless you and protect you.
